PROCUREMENT UPDATE
As you may have gathered through Facebook, KCB are still working through a huge amount of information to ensure the latest tender meets all regulatory requirements of the funders, Community Broadband Scotland, and represents a safe and economically viable solution for the community. There are some non-compliant aspects of the solution that pose potential risks both to achieving funding and to protecting the community. We are working flat out with our advisors, partners and the tenderer to resolve the issues but wanted to keep you updated.
Due to the nature of procurement law and issues of confidentially during the process, we are unable to disclose any further information at present. However, KCB are committed to communicating what they can when they can, and will inform the community of progress as soon as possible.
